As the sun began to set, Lily and Bella returned to the clocktower. Bella pressed another button, and the clock’s hands spun again, transporting them to a diƯerent time.
This time, they found themselves in a grand library in ancient Egypt. The walls were lined with scrolls and manuscripts, and scholars were busy reading and writing. They met a young scribe named Amara, who was struggling to translate an important scroll.
“What’s the matter, Amara?” Lily asked.
Amara sighed. “I’m trying to translate this scroll, but it’s written in a language I don’t understand. It’s an important document that holds knowledge about medicine and science.”
Lily thought for a moment. “Maybe we can help. Bella, do you have any ideas?”
Bella fluttered around, examining the scroll and the other manuscripts. She noticed a similar script on another scroll and brought it to Amara.
“Look, Amara,” Bella said. “This scroll seems to have the same language. Maybe it can help you understand the translation.”
Amara’s eyes lit up with hope. “Thank you, Bella! Let’s compare the two scrolls and see if we can make sense of it.”
Together, they worked late into the night, carefully translating the scroll. With patience and teamwork, they finally succeeded. The scroll revealed valuable knowledge about herbal medicine and treatments for various ailments.
Amara beamed with gratitude. “Thank you, Lily and Bella! This knowledge will help many people. You’ve made a great diƯerence.”
