God’s blessing has attended our efforts. W e go next to Garbondale, Pa., beginning next Sunday, then ta Thompson, Pa., where we have another tabernacle. Kindly give my Christian greetings to all the. students, fac ulty, Fishermen’s Club and friends whom I love in the Lord.” HIS magazine has never asked a sub scriber for an expression o f opinion as to its worth, consequently the following unsolicited testimonials are the more highly appreciated. They are especially com mended to the attention of persons who have not yet become regular subscribers: C. C. Nichols: “ I have not much money to spare these days but feel I cannot do without T he K ing ' s B usiness , after hav ing enjoyed its visits for a year, so enclose you the subscription price. I feel it has been a great help to me in my Christian knowledge and life.” R. Iley, Lancanshire, England: “I enjoy reading T he K ing ' s B usiness , and its val uable helps on the Inter. S. S. lessons, besides the other articles it contains, and must thank you for your promptitude in sending it each month. Trusting that you may be richly blessed in your work, and that T he K ing ' s B usiness may be circu lated and be a blessing to other readers. J. N. Potts, Huntington, W . Va.: “ S. C. Hennen joins, me in expression,.of appre ciation of T he K ing ' s B usiness . It is the end of controversy on Bible questions always sound.” H. S. Cosman, St. Johns, N. B .: “Enclosed please find the amount o f my subscription to T he K ing ' s B usiness for another year. Its monthly visits bring help ful and edifying articles. The articles on “ Old Time Revivals” are an eye-opener for present-day *evangelism. God has not deemed it wise to keep in pace with the new methods adopted. The Gospel (not social reform) is the power of. God unto salva tion to every one that believeth.” J. H. Billingsley, Roanoke, Va.:- “As a Methodist preacher, poor in this world s goods, I can, truly say my life has been spiritually enriched by taking, reading and studying T he K ing ’ s B usiness . I would give up other things more readily than it. — -------- 0 -------— Words of Appreciation
he learned the scope o f the Swahili lan guage, trying to make arrangements for us to not study Kikuyu, but spend our time on Swahili; and at last we have started our study with five others and a native teacher. Although we have- studied for less than a month, we find it comes incomparably easier than Kikuyu, and that we are making much better progress. All the boys here in the house and the medical boys 'understand Swahili—sind so it is with nearly all the natives we are acquainted with, and it is among them that we hope to do most for God while we stay here. ------------ o — - A Graduate Harlow Parsons, a graduate of the Bible Institute in the class o f 1915, writes as fol- low s: “ Here’s one fellow that gets homesick for the Bible Institute, the Fishermen’s Club and the fellowship which prevails there. I cannot estimate the value which my course at the Institute-has meant to me, , the'truths which I had confirmed in my heart while there are constantly being pro claimed with confidence to others. “ I am glad I put all I did into my studies while there, for I find I received in propor tion to what I put in. My advice to the students is to make the best o f every oppor- ' tunity 'while there; to have their work the very best; not to slight any part. Above all, 'personal work is absolutely necessary if they are to keep spiritually where they ought. I am sure the stress is put just where it ought to be. Preachers lose out in their ministry because they do not have the passion to win souls. “W e have just closed a most successful campaign o f meetings in the Court Street M. E. church at Scranton. Over 200 came out definitely for Christ. W e had the most wonderful consecration service I have ever held. At least 75 to 100 came out to give themselves to the Lord. Several have come to me and want to go to Bible school, or else take the correspondence course. Surely
