It makes no difference when or where the class is held, I shall be there, for I have never heard these teachings before.” (This from a member o f a class in dispensational truth.) - As the indirect result o f one Bible class, a man who was being drawn into Millennial Dawnism, and a woman on the Verge of accepting Christian Science, were both deliveredwpfrom the errors. The Bible Woman had never seen either one until after they had been reached, the work being done by a member o f a class, awak ened by the Bible study. In another case, a Christian woman, attending one o f the' Bible classes, was in the habit o f taking the lessons home to her husband. When a matter o f false teaching was to be dealt with, he said “ I thank God for the teachings I have had. Except for them I should never have detected the error.” And so our work is reaching “beyond those women who are actually under the sound o f our voice.
A little shut-in mother o f four little ones, said “Yes, I ani so glad you called again. I have been reading the Gospel of John which you left before, jbut some way do not get much out o f it.” She knew very, little o f the way o f salvation, but the -Holy Spirit opened her eyes to the truth that aft ernoon, and before we left she said “ I never saw it so before. I can know I am saved, can’t I?” and the fear o f what her husband might say seemed to all leave her. “ Now,” she said, “ I will read in earnest and I believe it will seem different.” We knew it would, because the entrance o f His Word giveth light. May .we not all be much in prayer for the large number o f just such mothers, shut in, no Bible, no way o f hearing o f Him, unless the W ord is taken to them as in this case. .•

D URING the past month our work has been amongst the oil leases between Fellows, Lost Hills, Bellridge and Reward Districts. Quite a number o f companies operate^ in this section and they seem glad to have us come and work amongst the men, for they realize the need o f “ some thing” to offset the influences Satan has to drag down and destroy. Some fields are very responsive and others quite difficult. It is a treat to have seventy oil men in an audience as we had at the Standard Camp the other evening, listening to the
W ord o f Life but whether many or few, we try to be faithful in delivering the mes- -sage. W e play the piano and make the men sing and then preach the Gospel. W e lound at Lost Hills that there had been no preaching there for fifteen months, which shows how needy the fields are. There is a great opportunity for personal work and to present the Gospel in its sim plicity. Man’s ruin, God’s remedy, and the soon coming o f our Lord from Heaven— this is our constant theme. There are lots o f men in trouble, and
