Assembling hundreds of bikes is no easy task! Each year the onbikes team and hundreds of volunteers come together for a day of work and play. Because each bike arrives in parts, we rely on the help of our tireless volunteers to help assemble, quality check, and prep each one for distribution. We invite all of our sponsors, their employees, friends, and families to get involved with this crucial part of the process. For the past two years, The Tampa Bay Lightning hosted our Annual Bike Build at Amalie Arena, right inside the rink. This traditionwill continue thiswinter! With over 1,026 volunteers, along with the help of Santa, Lightning Girls and ThunderBug, we were able to build over 900 bikes in just under eight hours!
