SECURITY
THE MOST ENERGY EFFICIENT DOOR
The rising cost of energy bills and the impact on the environment means we all want to keep our consumption to a minimum. One of the best ways to achieve this is to choose thermally-efficient products which will keep warmth in and cold out, saving money and reducing emission levels. The photographs below show the thermal efficiency of each of the doors we tested. The darker the blue, the less heat is being lost. Reds and greens – the predominant colours on the timber door – indicates high heat loss.

COLOUR RANGE
Choose a colour or create your own! We use the RAL colour matching system to make sure you get the precise colour and shade you want for your door. Choose from hundreds of RAL colours, or bring in a sample for us to turn into a custom one. If you choose for your door to open outwards instead of inwards, we can colour the door’s edge banding to blend in. This special feature has a longer lead time, but keeps your door looking sleek.

Each glass design is triple glazed, something that offers two major benefits. Firstly, thermal efficiency is maintained. And because the decorative panel is enclosed within two clear panes, keeping it clean and pristine is much easier too. All the panels have slim sightlines so attention is focused on the beauty of the panel and for extra security the external face is fitted with 6.8mm laminated safety glass to BS EN 14449.

Enclosed Mini-blinds An enclosed mini-blind is the perfect solution for controlling light and privacy in your home. Mini-blinds can be handed left or right and have a simple control mechanism to be raised or tilted with one hand. This system uses a magnetic tab rather than a traditional cord, so is completely safe for use around children. The mini-blind is enclosed within two panes of glass in the frame so never require painting and are protected from damage and dust. They are a stylish finishing touch to any external door.

SIDEPANELS
Adding sidelights or sidepanels to your door gives a stylish extra dimension to truly make a statement.
If you have the space, adding sidelights or sidepanels is a great way to make a statement entrance. Not only do they look impressive by extending the glazed area across the entrance to your home, sidelights also allow for more natural light to fill your internal living space.
Constructed in the same way as the door, with the same brilliant credentials you don’t need to worry about compromising on any aspect.
You can choose to have them in the same colour as your door with matching glass for seamless look that flows with your home.
