us. Proverbs 17:14 says, "The be ginning of strife is like letting out water; so quit before the quarrel breaks Out." Romans 13:13 states, "Let us conduct ourselves becom ingly as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauch ery and licentiousness, not in quar reling and jealousy." In Galatians 5 quarreling is not listed with the fruit of the Spirit! It is one of the flesh. The minister's home life that is characterized by dissension and quarreling has little to offer to those he is suppose to lead. The minis ter who allows church members to speak harshly with one another
and harbor bitter resentment will see his church torn apart. Is our speech and behavior diar ized by love to such an extent that others would be convinced that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ? Or are we known by our anger and lack of listening? But there may be a better means of motiva ting them. Think about it. Communication is the word to day! In a real sense it has always carried importance for the Chris tian. We will be known by our love for one another, by our actions and by our words. Could we all ask ourselves, "What would others say about what I say?"
Break during seminary classes is always a good discussion time.
