WELCOME KATE TO THE LJB LEGAL TEAM Kate moved to St. Charles Parish in 2012 as an elementary school student and has loved the strong sense of community here ever since. She graduated from LSU with a degree in mass communication and a minor in psychology. She wanted a role that combined communication, empathy, and a deep understanding of people. At LJBLegal, Kate uses these strengths to support clients with positivity and compassion. Her background in mental health and her years of customer service experience help her make clients feel comfortable and cared for during difficult moments.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and her cat Margo. She also loves writing fiction, crocheting, painting, watching her favorite shows, and playing video games. We are excited to have Kate on our team and look forward to the kindness and energy she brings to our clients and our office.

For the second year in a row, LJBLegal earned a spot on the LSU100 list of the fastest-growing Tiger-owned-and-led businesses. We ranked ninth last year and eleventh this year. Seeing our name on that list again reminded me that our growth has been steady and intentional. It is not the result of a single big case. It reflects consistent effort and a team that genuinely cares about the families we serve.
