Metzger Cattle Company would like to invite you to our March 14, 2026 annual bull sale. We would like to thank all of our past customers for their trust in our breeding program and would like to extend a warm welcome to new visitors. We appreciate your interest in the genetics that we are offering in our 2026 sale. We strive to produce cattle that perform in a low input environment. Our goal is to produce cattle that are fertlile, easy fleshing, and have longevity. This year we are offering a line of sires with generations of proven progeny that have withstood the test of time. We value the opportuntiy to provide our customers with highly proven AI sires with correct confirmation, milking ability, fleshing ability, docility and fertility in mind. All bulls are developed with the customer in mind, they are fed a high fiber diet with a goal of 3lbs average daily gain. We feel this gives a good test to feed performance without jeopardizing foot and gut health. The Bulls were weaned on Oct. 28th 2025 and started on a 40MCal diet where they have stayed until February 2026, when they went to a 42MCal up to sale date. The diet consists of CRP hay, alflafa hay, triticale hay, corn, and corn silage with Payback supplement. Bulls will have scrotal measurements, yearling weights and ratios provided on sale day.
We are retaining semen interest on all the bulls sold in the sale. If we choose to collect a bull it will be done at our expense and at your convenience.

Sale Location The sale will be held in our shop located at 6965th Ave N. Towner, ND 58788. Bulls will be available for viewing by 10:00 am sale day. Directions From Hwy 2 turn North on 5th Ave N (MM177) approximately 8 miles North (3/4 of a mile North of the intersection of 5th Ave North and 69th St N) West side of road. From Upham SE on 14 to 5th Ave North, turn South Approximately 9 miles South on West side of the road. From Towner Northwest on Hwy 14 to 68th St North, turn West approximately 11 miles turn North on 5th Ave N, 1-3/4 miles North on West side of road. Herd Health Bulls and heifers have had Nasalgen 3 PMH, and Ultrachoice 7 and Endovac Beef at branding. Vista Once SQ and Vision 7 Somnus at weaning and were boosted with Bovishield Gold 5, and Vision 7 Somnus. They will be vaccinated with Vista 5VL5, Endovac Beef, and poured before delivery. All cows have tested negative for Johnes Disease. All bulls will pass a breeding soundness exam prior to delivery.
Terms of Payment All cattle are to be paid for sale day unless prior arrangements have been made.
Guarantee All bulls sell with 90 day breeding season guarantee. Guarantee will be 1/2 of purchase price less salvage value. Ex. $3,500 bull with salvage value of $1,000 would be a credit of $1,250.
Delivery Free delivery within 250 miles. Delivery will start after April 15th.
