Welcome Friends, We would like to welcome you all to our 15th annual production sale. Since last year, markets have been on fire, climbing higher to all time high price and profitability, which is great for us cattle producers. Now we have to figure out how to keep it in our pockets, while building back cow herds. Continuing great beef demand and getting the truths out about eating beef and the positive influences beef has on us and our chil - dren’s health will definitely help. DBL continues to make the offerings to our customers better, keeping in mind their needs of efficiency and consistency, remembering also that we all sell pounds...whether as a calf, yearling, or out of the feedlot. We keep back only about 50% of our bull and heifer calf crop so our customers can feel confident they are getting the “cream of the crop”. It also gives us the confidence to go out and buy back these genetics in our customer’s calves or yearlings for our feedyards. This year we are offering our great donor dam, DBL Lady Upshot 001. We have sold many great off - spring out of her, as well as in this year’s offering, as you will see in the front of the catalog. We have also kept many heifers back that are already producing the type of cattle that we continue to build on. DBL had the opportunity to buy the majority interest in Crouch Congress last year and are pleased that many of his yearling bulls made the top of this year’s sale. We realize how many people are holding back heifers and DBL’s bull offering definitely will help you in finding those bulls that will have smaller calves but will also fit the bill for replacements continue to grow... Pounds... Please come and view these cattle ahead of the sale, at the ranch or give us a call so someone can take you through them... we will have the bulls out at Bullodge on Wednesday, March 18th for your viewing or right before the sale.
