Art Without Borders Auction

Freedom isn’t free. There is always a price. Freedom isn’t free. There is always a price. Whether it’s a sacrifice of one’s time and years. Whether it’s the sacrifice of one’s relationships. Whether it’s a sacrifice of ones emotional or physical health. Or whether it’s the sacrifice of one’s life. There is a cost for Freedom.

To celebrate Freedom and to honor those who have made sacrifices for it. Venoart is having an auction on July 31st at 2 p.m. (EST)

A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity aiding the children of Ukraine.

VenoArt is an online auction house focused on art. Our team of graphic designers, curators, bloggers, and, of course -- artists -- engages painters, printmakers, photographers and sculptors from across the globe. We showcase them on our website and hold frequent auctions of their work. We promote and support them, driven by our mission of “Art Without Borders.“ VenoArt’s collection is wide-ranging. We collaborate with our artists to market their works successfully. Our auction pricing aims at affordability. We offer art lovers with modest budgets unprecedented opportunities to collect and enjoy. We empower artists by eliminating the “middle man” in the sales process. We empower buyers with affordable auctions where everyone can find what inspires them. We welcome you to our 4th auction. The Art Without borders auction www.VenoAuction.com

Jette Jertz, 1973 born in Essen-Kettwig, Germany. Studies at the Alanus Kunsthochschule Bonn, special education, art education and doctorate in Cologne, among others. at Prof. Dr. Toennis, Prof. Dr. Bucholz. Free art with Prof. Dr. Zepf, lecturer at the Dusseldorf Art Academy. Jette Jertz’s works emerge from presence. Based on informal painting, she seeks an analytical and painterly solution in relation to art history, current affairs and the individuality of the artist. The plurality of artistic forms of expression is viewed as a gift and as a challenge not to lose oneself in the superficial. Coming to terms with a choice related to one’s actual identity is essential in her work. This is not about either informal painting or conceptual painting, but about bringing together the pictorial plurality with one’s own spirit based on individual choice. It provides a context in which the audience can search for their own personal definition. Man is the only timekeeper in the universe. Only human beings measure time. Only human beings make time. Artist: Edward Karlsson, Swedish Photographer Statement: Two years ago I got the opportunity to go to Kiev Ukraine for a business trip. The architecture and beauty of this city took me by storm.St Michael’s monastery in Kiev stands on high ground between the Dnieper river and Maidan square, and its blue-and-white walls and golden domes are beloved of locals and visitors to Ukraine’s capital. This cathedral became a place of refuge during the late No- vember 2013, when demonstrations against the sudden decision of then Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich to scrap a deal on closer integration with the European Union in favour of stronger ties with Russia. When riot police attacked a peaceful protest in the early hours of November 30th., demonstrators fled up the hill from Maidan to seek refuge in the 11th century St Sophia’s cathedral.”The main cathedral became a hospital and basic operations were performed next door in the refectory church,” - Father Mikhail (28), a monk at St Michael’s. Persepolis is a symbol of glory and grandeur in ancient Iran and one of the sights of Shiraz. Perhaps the region of Persepolis and the re- maining buildings in it can be considered one of the most important documents in the history of civilization in the world. Hence, promi- nent scientists and archaeologists from all over the world have traveled to Iran to visit Persepolis. Persepolis is a relic of Achaemenid kings in Iran from 2500 BC. Given the greatness of the Achaemenid Empire in ancient Iran, which cov- ered a significant part of the eastern part of the world, we can understand the glory of the headquarters of these kings in Persepolis. What attracts the attention of the world to Persepolis is not only the historical antiquity of this ancient city. Archaeologists have discovered the development of civilization in ancient Iran through careful study of inscriptions and artifacts from this region. The social laws of the Achaemenid period also surprised many historians. Lim.Ed.4/5, Fuji Mat Paper

Artist: Olga Merrill is an award-winning Maine (USA) based visual artist primarily using the medium of photography. She uses photography as a tool- like an instrument to make music or a brush for painting-to create an image of her vision, with a dreamy and indirect relationship to external reality. Some images are essentially representative photography of the world around her that nevertheless dissolve into the wonder of abstract patterns, while others are complex manipulations of the ordinary visual world that use intentional camera movement, multiple exposures, and well planned color pal- ettes to reflect her vision, dreams and feelings. Merrill’s work has been part of group shows and festivals nationally and internationally, including NYC Center of Photography (USA), Davis Orton Gallery (USA), Foto-Foto Gallery (USA), Griffin Museum of Photography (USA), Praxis Gallery (USA), PH21 Gallery (Hungary), Malta Postal Museum (Malta), Fondazione de Matalon (Italy), Rockport Art Association & Museum (USA), Blank Wall Gal- lery (Greece), online shows at Center for Photographic Arts (USA), Center for Fine Art Photography (USA), among others.
