Illinois. He was directly responsible for the day-to-day Operation and Mainte- nance (O&M) functions at O’Hare, the world’s busiest airport. He managed all aspects of O&M at all aviation facilities, including O’Hare International Airport, Midway Airport and Merrill C. Meigs Field. In addition, he managed an an- nual budget of over $120 million dollars and a staff of over 200 employees and coordinated the $2.1 billion dollar ex- pansion of O’Hare International Airport. In 1990, Col. Levell became the Di- rector of Aviation for New Orleans Inter- national Airport, where he managed all aspects of operations and management and was directly involved in coordinating the $500 million-dollar expansion of the new international airport. Col. Levell retired from airport man- agement in December 2000. He now resides at Falcons Landing in Sterling, Virginia. Brother Levell was initiated in the Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter in 1968 and is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . He is also a 50-year member and has been a member of the Alexandria - Fairfax Chapter since January 2002.
