LAKE ANN PARK PRESERVE PROJECT ARCHAEOLOGICAL WORK Beginning with the concept park plan developed in 2018, the city is fulfilling a 50-year plan to preserve the forests and wetlands located between Lake Ann and Lake Lucy. Archaeological field investigations continued in 2025 as part of the ongoing park preserve trail project. Archaeological field investigations are necessary due to the identification of lithic scattering by the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) in 1977.
