Jenna Sieber is a school counselor in the Marshfield School District. She just finished her third year as an educator in the Wisconsin Public Schools. She previously has taught for the Hellgate Elementary School in Missoula, Montana. Her work has focused on how to best support students and their families in varying circumstances. She advocates for and supports all-inclusive education and diversity within the student bodies. She realizes how important it is to be culturally responsive and empathic while being authentic and genuine in all that she does. This doctoral program directly aligns with her continued work professionally, as well as aligning with personal interests and ambitions for futures thinking. Jenna’s vision is to be able to help students learn and grow in and out of the classroom. Whether it be through policy change, environmental changes within the classroom, or leadership transformation. Jenna notices the effects of change in the classrooms from the beginning of the year towards the end of the year and has a passion for wanting to make more positive impacts all year round. The curiosity around cause and effects in the classroom and student performance is something that Jenna has always had a passion for and strives to improve. Jenna currently resides in central Wisconsin with her husband, a baby boy on the way, 2 dogs and a cat. They love spending time outside whenever possible and being in the Northwoods with family. Family is something that Jenna values above all else. It is for this reason that she is so passionate in wanting to support young students and their families.
