Alicia Ratsaphonh-Withers brings extensive experience in managerial and supervisory roles, where she led teams focused on customer service, innovation and process improvements for approximately 12 years. During this period, she dedicated four years to serving in the U.S. Army, where she effectively coached, mentored and trained a team of soldiers. Her current role as a business educator within the Wausau School District is particularly fulfilling for her. Alicia firmly believes that education is the cornerstone of students’ success in contributing to economic growth and preparing for careers or college. She actively integrates sustainability principles into her teaching methods to instill these values in her culturally diverse student body. By employing inclusive pedagogical approaches tailored to diverse learning styles and preferences, Alicia ensures that all students have equitable opportunities to thrive into adulthood. With a robust background in business processes, innovation, motivation, and administration, Alicia currently offers students early opportunities for hands- on career development and training. Her goal is to inspire and empower more students from marginal groups and special groups to cultivate their interests in readiness for careers or higher education after secondary school. She emphasizes the crucial role students play in shaping our economic future and fostering sustainability. Through her dedication and expertise, Alicia aims to nurture a generation of students equipped to contribute meaningfully to both economic prosperity and environmental sustainability.
