Make sure ground conditions are suitable for the use of powered access and that there are no overhead hazards. Take account of working conditions, including wind speed. Use all relevant safety equipment for the safe use of MEWPS.

Make sure your machine has had a full pre-delivery inspection and has a current Loler Certificate before use. Pre-use Daily inspections are down to you, the operator. Make sure that all work is properly planned and appropriately supervised, taking into account everyone in the vicinity of where the equipment is to be used. Ensure that everyone involved in the work is fully competent.
