Overhead Glazing The combination of the GML800+
counterbalance floor crane and the Glazing Manipulator, developed by Kappel, again to Hird’s specification, allows glass panels to be raised and installed overhead, at full working height.
Dual Safety brakes One of many safety features on the GML 800. Thick steel cable, hardened rollers and sturdy chassis construction also ensures safe strong ongoing performance job after job.
Fully Automated Remote Control The GML800+ offers fully
automated glass installation. Thanks to the glass manipulator’s advanced design, there is no need to make any manual adjustments during the lift, increasing the speed, productivity and safety of glass lifting operations.
Head for Heights The GML800+ has a maximum working height of 7.94m (AC and DC versions), making it ideal for glass lifting in atriums or stone cladding on many building facades. The ability to work on the storey above without repositioning and resetting increases productivity.
Counterweights Neatly stored within the unit, flexible configuration enables you lift weights of up 800kg.
Locking Castors High quality durable castors provide smooth, easy movement across site. Fully lockable for operation.
Lateral Outriggers Manufactured from 6m steel the stablisers can be adjusted to help positioning. On the GML800+ series, they can be mounted at the back (with counterweights) enabling you to work directly up against a wall or glass façade. The rear mounted stabiliser also provide enhanced manourvrability.
Safe Working Load Every Counterbalance Floor Crane must carry two clearly-visible signs. One gives its maximum safe working load (SWL). The other displays its load chart. A load chart provides data that defines each Counterbalance Floor Cranes capabilities.
