PIPELIFE TO BUILD A STATE-OF-THE-ART TRAINING CENTRE IN LITTLE ISLAND

Pipelife started the big move of all their production lines and all manufacturing equipment from their premises in White’s Cross, Cork, to the new plant in Little Island. Now, with all the machinery up and running in the world-class manufacturing facility, the leading manufacturer of piping system solutions will start building a new state-of- the-art training centre. The construction will be completed in two phases and will comprise a fully built three- bedroom house within their warehouse that

will showcase all products in the Pipelife range. The house will be built in 3D, so that customers will be able to see pipework behind the walls, underground and in the ceiling. Pipelife acquired the plant in 2021 and has initially invested €30m to expand and upgrade the site. By 2026 there will be 35 extrusion lines incorporating the latest automation technologies, with a planned output approaching 45,000 tonnes per annum. www.pipelife.ie
