Train to stay on top of industry changes FLOORTHERM’S FREE VENT AXIA AND DAIKIN INSTALLER TRAINING COURSES OFFER ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS..
I n a sector that is evolving technologically as rapidly as the renewable heating field, it’s vital that plumbers and installers train up on the latest products to stay ahead of the curve. That’s why Floortherm’s free installer training courses on Vent Axia heat recovery systems and Daikin heat pumps is proving such a hit with engineers. Supplying efficient heating solutions, with a reputation for expertise is the reason Floortherm Renewables Ltd is one of the largest distributors of mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems to the trade. The Vent Axia MVHR range has been a mainstay in the Floortherm product portfolio since the company was founded. Known for its reliability and range of functionality, this is a unit more than capable of providing the requirements of all the domestic properties regardless of its size. With flowrates ranging from 40l/s to 120l/s and thermal efficiencies of up to 93%, the Vent Axia range is unlikely to be matched by another manufacture. Floortherm Renewables has been designing systems for the trade for many years resulting in vast product
knowledge. Floortherm’s in-house design team has developed the expertise to ensure that no installation is impossible. In conjunction with its design team, the new training facility installed in Floortherms offices allows installers to be kept up to date on all of the latest regulations, developments to product ranges along with training on the systems. TRAINING Floortherm’s Sustainable Home Centre training facilities in Newry hosts the company’s free installer courses for Vent Axia and Daikin products, delivered at three levels: basic, advanced and service partner. Floortherm’s General Manager, Niall Duffy explained, “If you’ve never installed a heat pump or mechanical ventilation heat recovery systems before or if you have a long list of installations under your belt, this market is constantly developing, so there is much to learn at all levels of proficiencies,” Floortherm’s training facility includes two working Daikin heat pump units as well as a range of demo units, so installers get hands-on experience working with the products.
“We also have working models of Vent Axia heat recovery units to provide training on balancing and commissioning of the heat recovery system,” added Niall. “Technology advances in this sector all the time; and by providing these courses, Floortherm can train and give installers the tools to stay on top of industry changes.”
