BAXI IRELAND HIGH-EFFICIENCY WATER HEATERS HELP POWER PREMIER INN TO RECORD-BREAKING BER A2 ENERGY RATING… WATER HEATERS

B y supplying high-efficiency water heaters, Baxi Ireland played a vital role in Kerrigan Mechanical’s Premier Inn, Dublin project achieving a BER A2 rating – the highest possible rating achievable. Baxi Ireland, the leading heating and hot water brand for commercial and residential heating customers, supplied three MAXXflo EVO 120/302 water heaters, complete with unvented kits. With efficiency of up to 98%, new BMS connectivity offering 24/7 remote monitoring and a continuous supply of hot water with a 1920 lt/hr recovery rate, it delivers class-leading performance. The hot water system throughout the building relies on its air source heat pumps being capable of reaching temperatures up to 55°C. At any given time, the hotel has 4,000L of hot

water on standby at circa 50°C to 55°C, stored in two large stainless steel tanks. The final temperature increase of approx 10°C to 60-65C (to prevent Legionella growth) was achieved using the MAXXflo Evo water heaters. The pre heated water from the heat pumps will significantly reduce gas consumption and minimise CO 2 emissions, playing a crucial role in attaining the A2 energy rating. Sustainability is embedded in Baxi Ireland’s ethos. It is committed to being a cleaner, greener manufacturing business, offering customers clever heating solutions that keep their homes and businesses warm while reducing their carbon footprint.

“Sustainability is embedded in Baxi Ireland’s ethos.”
