PARTNER ACCOUNTS

Mortgage bankers can co-brand with co-marketing partners on their marketing materials by becoming partners on Total Expert. Mortgage bankers must go to their Co-Marketing Partners tab and select the blue Invite New Connections box at the top of the page. They can then input their partner’s email address and send out a custom invite link.

Co-marketing partner will receive an email similar to this one and will need to create an account. Once they are finished, they will be added as a co-marketing partner and will be able to co-market with their mortgage banker.

Now that the partnership has been established, it’s time to start ordering some marketing!

Total Expert will provide you with the cost split and pricing, but the above will give you an idea of what the costs will be. As an example, if a real estate agent ordered 50 Total Expert template double-sided flyers for pick up at a DAS licensed branch the total cost would be:

The agent would be responsible for the percentage of the piece they covered. For example, if the Realtor information took up 75% and the lender information took up 25%, the cost breakdown would be:

THE PROCESS

Below is a quick rundown of the print markeing ordering process (don’t worry, we’ll break it down more in the upcoming pages). The first step is to look through our templates in Total Expert and decide which you would like to use or if you need a custom piece.

Step 1 - Choose your template There are many to choose from and more are being added every month! Step 2 - Customize your piece Choose your disclaimer state and property if applicable. Then click Customize & Publish. Step 3 - Change Editable Fields Hover over fields to see what is editable. Change any text or photos you would like. Step 4 - Save first draft Add draft notes if you need to and then click the Save First Draft button. Step 5 - Save and Publish When you’ve finished reviewing the piece and are ready to order, click Save & Publish. The piece will automatically be added to your Saved pieces. Step 6 - Get Compliance Approval (if applicable) Some pieces require Compliance approval before continuing. This should be done withing 24 hours. You will receive an email when the piece is ready. Step 7 - Print and Ship Choose the actions drop down and click print and ship for print orders or generate a pdf or png to download. Step 8 - Calculate Rates and Place Order Choose your quantity and shipment method. Pay for your piece and wait to hear from your marketing coordinator!

Step 6 - Print and Ship Choose the actions drop down and click print and ship. Step 7 - Calculate Rates and Place Order Choose your quantity and shipment method. Pay for your piece and wait to hear from your marketing coordinator! Step 8 - Design and Approve DAS Marketing will receive your order and one of our graphic designers will get to work creating your custom piece. For most requests, you will receive a proof within 3 business days if all necessary information and/or photos are provided upfront. We will send proofs and make revisions as asked until you are happy with the final product and let us know you are ready to print!

Our social media templates are a great way to co-market to your online base! We have lots of templates to choose from and are always adding more. ORDERING SOCIAL MEDIA Step 1 - Choosing your piece Under the Web Marketing menu, select Social Media and then Create New . You can view all of the options here.

Once you’ve picked the piece you want, select the Actions drop-down and click Select .

Step 2 - Select Media Options Your co-marketing partner and mortgage banker user profiles will automatically be selected. You will need to choose the state you are marketing in from the Select Disclaimer / Select State drop down. Then select Customize and Publish. Step 3 - Save First Draft and Save & Publish Select Save First Draft on the next page. Then choose Save & Publish on the following page.

Step 4 - Generate PNG Your piece is now in the Saved section under the Social Media menu. Select the Actions drop-down and click Generate PNG .

There are a variety of editable marketing pieces to choose from in Total Expert with more being constantly added. Choose from flyers, brochures, door hangers, EDDMs, postcards, and more! Whether you’re marketing a listing, farming an area, keeping in touch with your SOI for a specific holiday, or targeting renters, we have marketing pieces for you.

Don’t worry if you don’t see what you want in the template pieces; custom pieces are available. We’ll cover those later in the next section.

TOTAL EXPERT TEMPLATES

This section describes how to order the piece yourself. These templates have editable fields where text and photos can be replaced. You can also contact your mortgage banker or contact a marketing coordinator directly at Marketing@DASAcquisition.com to place the order for you ( please note - placing an order through a marketing coordinator instead of directly through Total Expert may add up to 24 hours to the turn time on your order). You will still need to approve and submit payment (instructions found at the end of this section on page 12).

Step 1 - Choosing your piece Under the Print Marketing menu, select Create New . You can view all of the options or sort them into categories by clicking the options on the left. These include Print Flyers, Brochures, Non-Direct Mail Postcards, etc. You can also choose from the Tags drop-down menu at the top to sort or search for options.

TE Tip Want to know your

approximate cost before completing it? Use the pricing chart on page 4 of this guide and the cost split provided for each piece when searching under Print Marketing > Create New .

Once you’ve picked the piece you want, select the Actions drop-down and click Select .

Step 2 - Customizing your piece Your co-marketing partner and mortgage banker user profiles will automatically be selected. You will need to choose the state you are marketing in from the Select Disclaimer / Select State drop down. If it is a listing or open house piece like in the sample below, you will also need to select the listing. First select the state and then search for the listing by the MLS #, location, or Agent Name. Once you find the property, click Select underneath of the photo and description.

Once you have selected the state and listing (if applicable), click the Customize and Publish button.

Step 3 - Editable Fields This is where you can fill in the editable fields. On property flyers and brochures, all of the information pulls directly from the MLS as long as the listing is active. If you would like to change any of the photos, click on the picture and select a new photo from the MLS, your

images, or from a URL. On EDDMs, postcards, and door hangers, there is very little editable information. Simply click on the text fields to see which are editable.

TE Tip Text not fitting in the field? Change the font size in the drop down that appears above the field as you are editing.

TE Tip If a co-marketing partner’s headshot or any contact information is not showing up correctly, they can send their headshot to Total Expert Customer Support. The support team will resize the photo for them and add the corrected photo back into their account or help fix their contact information.

To talk to Total Expert Customer Support, they simply needs to type their request and upload their photo via the chat icon on the bottom right-hand corner.

Step 4 - Save First Draft You can also add draft notes if you would like any changes to the piece that you can not edit yourself (for example- you can request the colors in a piece be changed to match your brokerage’s colors). A marketing coordinator can make the changes for you and make sure to send you a final proof before printing. ( Please note: You must pay for your piece before you receive a proof with your changes. Your coordinator does not receive your order or draft notes until payment is submitted.)

When you are happy with the piece, click the Save First Draft Button . You can access all saved drafts under Print Marketing > Saved . Saved drafts will be editable until you click Save and Publish .

Please Note: If ordering an EDDM mailer you will need to choose routes to send it to and save the route numbers and quantities in the draft notes. Visit eddm.usps.com for routes.

Step 5 - Save and Publish When you’ve finished reviewing the piece and are ready to order, click Save & Publish . The piece will automatically be added to your Saved pieces. TE Tip The thumbnails for each piece in your Saved drafts will not update after they are customized. You can also change the media file name to help stay organized. To view what you have customized so far go to Actions > Edit/Publish

TE Tip Make sure to double-check for spelling, grammar, and incorrect information before publishing. Once Save and Publish is selected, the piece can no longer be edited.

Step 6 - Compliance Approval (if applicable) Some pieces will need Compliance approval before continuing. This does NOT include listing flyers, listing brochures, or custom pieces (those will go through Compliance once a proof is approved). They will be found in the Pending Approval section under your Saved drafts. You will receive an email notification once the piece has been approved; pieces are typically approved within 24 hours.

Step 7- Print & Ship Your piece is now waiting to be ordered in Print Marketing > Saved in the Approved section. To order, click Actions > Print & Ship . If you do not need any printed you can also click Actions > Generate PDF or Generate PNG . You can use the downloaded piece to print yourself or use digitally (this would be your final step).

Step 8 - Calculating Rates and Placing Order

You will be taken to the Order page. Here you can choose your order quantity and

no charge or paying for 2-day FedEx shipping to the address you provide on this page. Then click Calculate Rates .

Please Note : If you are ordering an EDDM mailer, you must enter the exact quantity for all of the routes you will be using. You can find the routes and

quantities at: eddm.usps.com. Also make sure to include the routes in your draft notes. You will be provided a quote with the cost breakdown between co-marketing partner and mortgage banker (organization total). Click Submit Order. You will then be brought to the Orders page.

Click the drop-down menu under Actions and click Pay. Your order has now been submitted to your marketing coordinator! You will hear from the m within 48 hours.

Placing Your Order through Your Mortgage Banker Partner or a Marketing Coordinator You can have your mortgage banker partner or a marketing coordinator (via realtor@gmail.com

Marketing@DASAcquisition.com and include your mortgage banker’s name in the request) place the order on your behalf. (You will still need an account so you can approve the order and submit payment.) Let your partner or marketing coordinator know which item you would like, listing information, quantity etc. ( Please note - placing an order through a marketing coordinator instead of directly through Total Expert may add up to 24 hours to the turn time on your order).

Mortgage Banker

They will complete the order for you and you will receive an email like the one pictured. Click on the Order Link at the bottom of the email.

You will find all of your pending orders at the link. Click the drop-down under Actions on the piece you wish to approve. Here you will have the option to Review the piece, Pay your portion, or Decline payment if you wish to make changes.

After you’ve paid, we will receive notice, make any changes and send a proof and start printing your piece!

If the marketing piece you need is not available on Total Expert, or, if there is a marketing piece on Total Expert that you would like to alter, submit your request using Total Expert. There is a section labeled “Custom Marketing Request” that allows you submit your request.

For a nominal fee, our designers take the notes you provided your DAS Marketing coordinator and develop your marketing piece to your satisfaction.

You will be allowed and encouraged to request edits, changes and revisions until you are happy with your marketing piece.

Step 1 - Choosing your Custom Piece Under the Print Marketing menu, select Create New . Under the Tags drop-down menu, select Custom Design & Print Order . Once you’ve picked the type of custom piece you want (choices include EDDMs, postcards, door hangers, flyers, and brochures), select the Actions drop-down and click Select .

Please Note : You will need to select the correct type of piece from the options given in order to be charged correctly.

Reasons why you would order print-only:

1. You are submitting a piece that has already been designed that you just want printed by DAS Marketing.

2. You have a previously-designed custom piece that you just need re-printed (meaning you don’t need any design changes made).

3. You have a custom property flyer or brochure on file with DAS Marketing and you just need the property information changed out

The Process

The steps for ordering print-only orders are the same as order a custom piece with a few minor changes.

In Step 1, under the Tags drop-down menu, select Print-Only Order .

In Step 4, if you are submitting your own artwork for us to print you can make a note of it in the draft notes. Please email those materials to Marketing@DASAcquisition.com. If you do not send them to us, one of our Marketing Coordinators will reach out to you to collect your artwork.

HOW LONG DOES DESIGN, PRINTING, CUTTING AND SHIPPING TAKE?

NEXT, Ensure payment and maintain communication.

FIRST, Place order

in Total Expert.

ALL ESTIMATES DEPEND ON COMPLEXITY: A 30 page book could take a week or more depending on LO/Realtor response time and current marketing ticket volume. *All turn times are estimates based on current volume of orders, mortgage banker/realtor response time and complexity of order.

1. PLACE ORDER IN TOTAL EXPERT. Emailing your order to Marketing Ticket for your coordinator to place on the agent/LO's behalf (instead of placing the order yourself in Total Expert) adds 24 hours to your turn time. When an order is placed in Total Expert, the mortgage banker is able to check progress – i.e., has the agent paid, has compliance approved, etc. Don’t forget to ensure payment has been made through Total Expert. Slow payment is one of the most common reasons for delayed turn times.

2. COMMUNICATION Once payment is made, your ticket arrives in the marketing inbox and is assigned to your marketing coordinator. You should expect communication from your coordinator within 24 hours. If you have any changes, you can expect a proof of your item to be provided within 48 hours*. If your item is a custom item, you can expect a proof within 72 hours*.

3. DESIGN AND PRODUCTION Once your item is approved, we can begin printing.

It typically takes another 24-48 hours to print, cut, collate and/or prepare for shipment.

THINGS YOU CAN DO TO SPEED UP TURN TIMES:

1. Do not request “Rush” items. When 30 people request rush items it delays orders for those who have planned ahead. 2. Place your order in Total Expert instead of using the marketing ticket email. 3. When our turn times will not meet your needs, coordinate printing on your own. 4. Respond to your coordinator promptly and be sure to answer any outstanding questions he/she has regarding your item.

What must be ordered through Total Expert? All co-branded requests must be paid for through Total Expert and the co-marketing partner must be signed up in TE before they order. Partners are encouraged to place their orders in TE, but they may email Marketing@dasacquisition.com to have their marketing coordinator place the order on their behalf. Note: This may add up to 24 hours to your turn time. How does an agent get to use Total Expert? Mortgage bankers will need to send them an email invitation to collaborate on Total Expert. Each invitation is unique and sending one is the only way an agent will be able to join. My agent is not great with technology. How can I make this easier for them? All your agent is required to do is create their account, which takes 5 minutes. You can sit with them and walk them through it, but there are a few email verification requirements so they will have to be involved in the sign-up. After that, you can make every future marketing request through TE on behalf of your agent if you choose. The agent may also email Marketing@dasacquisition.com to have their marketing coordinator place the order on their behalf. Note: This may add up to 24 hours to your turn time. What are my design options when I order? There are 3 options: 1. Order a piece already available in Total Expert (no custom design charge) 2. Place a custom design order (custom design charge applies) 3. Re-print a custom design order: if you’ve placed a custom order with us in the past and simply need a reprint (no custom design charge) How do agents pay for their marketing materials? All charges will go through Total Expert. Agents must link a credit card through their account. They will be charged appropriately based on the type of marketing piece, their quantity, and amount of space they are claiming on the piece. Please note, the Marketing department will not be invoicing agents, so they must have a card stored in Total Expert if they want to have marketing pieces printed.

How will agents receive their materials? There are 2 options: 1. They can download a PDF of their marketing piece and print on their own. 2.

They can submit the request to have it printed on our HQ Marketing printer. When the piece is printed, it can be picked up at HQ or shipped to one of our licensed branch locations. It can also be shipped to the agent’s preferred address, but there will be a charge for this.

How does my agent get their materials? There are several options: 1. If you are located at Headquarters or the CityPlace branch: A.

FAQ

I’m at a licensed branch location and want the complimentary bulk shipment. When do I need to submit my order? To receive your printed marketing materials in one of our bulk shipments, requests must be submitted no later than: - Monday at 9 AM CST for property flyers, brochures, and door hangers listed in Total Expert - Friday at 9 AM CST for EDDMs and postcards listed in Total Expert What are the turn times? - If the request is for a marketing piece stored in Total Expert (no design needed): you will have the piece in-hand in approximately one week. - If the request is for a custom marketing piece: turn times for custom orders vary per request. For most requests, you will receive a proof within 3 business days if all necessary information is provided upfront. For customized books, you will receive a proof within 7 days if all necessary information is provided upfront. Shipment time depends on the amount of time it takes for the agent to approve their proof and if we need to make any changes. - Detailed information on turn times can be found on page 25. How do I order EDDMs in Total Expert? When a co-marketing partner goes to order an EDDM, they will need to visit the USPS EDDM website (eddm.usps.com). They will pick their routes and list the route names inside a draft notes box in Total Expert. Co-marketing partners will choose their order quantity based on the total amount they want to send out. What qualifies as a custom design? Basically, a custom design is anything that a graphic designer would have to touch to complete the work. A custom fee will be charged if anything on the marketing piece has to be designed, instead of simply clicking “Print.” If my agent orders something in Total Expert, will I get notified? You will not get an email notification through Total Expert, but you are able to see the order history by clicking on Print Marketing > Orders. When the Marketing department receives an order, the marketer will send you and your agent an email to confirm that we’ve received the order. What happens after I submit an order for printing? The Marketing team will receive an email with the order quantity and the artwork. One of the Marketing Coordinators will reach out to the mortgage banker and agent confirming that we have received the order and are working on printing. They will also confirm the shipping or pick-up location. We will print within 3 business days of receiving the order if no changes are needed. Does Compliance still need to approve my order? Yes, in most cases. Listing flyers and brochures will not need compliance approval, but all other marketing pieces will. Total Expert will automatically send your proof to Compliance for approval if it is not a custom piece. You will not be able to see the order and print options until it has been Compliance-approved. If the order is custom, we will send it to Compliance once we have received approval on the proof from the agent.

Are the marketing pieces available in Total Expert going to change? Yes! Every month, the marketing team designs and adds new pieces to the catalog.
