One of the unique opportunities of the 2026 calendar year from one of the highest grossing females in the breed over the last 24 months is 535E20 from Schmidt Farms. Eclipsing $300,000 in sales since March of 2024, a partial listing of her sons includes Czar ($46,000), Revolution ($34,000), D’Artag - nan ($25,000), Full Throttle ($24,000), Prism ($24,000), and 535L7 ($23,000) with this lineup as equally impressive in being sired by 3 different bulls in Data Bank, Kingpin, and Spectrum. Her ability to work across a wide range of sires is uncanny, with progeny by Three D, Prime Cut, Business Line, County Line, Data Bank, Kingpin, Spectrum, Alliance, Triple Crown, Gridmaker and Sho Boat (Whose sons will find many friends in the March 26 sale at CRC, in all likelihood passing the $400,000 mark in 2 years ). The run this female has had and the way she has done it with multiple sire groups has been incredible. Her pedigree lends to tremendous breeding versatil- ity, being sired by Mack, who was the staple at Schmidt’s for so many years and stemming back to the 535 cow family that Dr. Schmidt has fine tuned so well, proving to be as consistent as any cow family across the breed. There are a lot of 535’s in the breed but the Schmidt 535’s are distinct in their design, superior in their foot structure and balanced in their approach on paper and in person. 535E20 has proven to be the pinnacle of that. An exciting opportunity only available through the International Sale at Houston, Dr. Schmidt is offering the opportunity to select up to 25 embryos, by up to 5 sires, with the buyer’s option to mix and match as they desire. Only 25 embryos will be sold Only 25 embryos will be sold, with the first winning bidder getting his pick of matings and the option to go as deep as he wants, then the second pick will be sold and so on until 25 have been selected. The sires available and number of embryos available per sire are listed in parenthesis. #1 - Trail Boss (7) - Sired by the immortal Trail Boss, expect tremendous maternal and carcass combining the revenue generating potential of TB & E20. #2 - Brickhouse (12) - No one can hook Brickhouse up as well as Dr. Schmidt. The daughters here will be phenomenal, & the sons will be chucked full of muscle. #3 - Big Lake (10) - An outcross type option from the SF program, Big Lake’s elite carcass and E20’s herd sire ability could prove to be iconic. #4 - Entourage (10) - Entourage was the high selling bull at Suhn’s in 2021 to Lake Majestic and Sunshine Acres and died 3 months later, with only limited semen available but his progeny has been extremely consistent and in high demand through G+ sales.
