Naming ceremonies A naming ceremony is a very special way of celebrating the birth of your child and welcoming the new arrival in to the family and wider community. It can also be used as a special occasion to welcome adoptive or step-children to the family. These ceremonies are non-statutory, and non-religious and parents can decide who takes part – children, grandparents and supporting adults. Ceremonies can be tailored to reflect your wishes and a commemorative certificate will also be presented at the end of the ceremony.
This ceremony is intended for any married couple wishing to celebrate and renew their marriage vows in a unique and personal ceremony. It may be to celebrate a special anniversary, or for couples who have married abroad. Although the ceremony has no legal status, it provides a wonderful opportunity to reaffirm your commitment to each other in a venue of your choice. Ceremonies can be tailored to reflect your wishes and a commemorative certificate will also be presented at the end of the ceremony.
