Sustainability Guidelines and Policies Our initiatives and processes set forth our steps and methods to meet our sustainability goals. We have developed stringent and comprehensive Sustainability Guidelines, High Performance Design and Construction Guidelines, Occupational Health and Safety Policy,

Environmental Management System

Sustainability Guidelines, policies, and procedures to reflect our advancement toward our energy and engineering targets and included specific guidelines for our commercial and multifamily properties. Our Vendor Code of Conduct requires our suppliers’ disclosure of their environmental impact. ESRT integrates our energy and sustainability criteria into the due diligence and underwriting process for potential acquisitions through property condition assessments, Phase 1 environmental site assessments, and other custom sustainability evaluations, such as opportunities to retrofit.

ESRT’s Environmental Management System (EMS) is ISO 14001: 2015 international standard and ISO 50001 certified. The EMS helps formalize the sustainability strategy of our environmental and energy management systems.
