Brahm Plug & Play Central Collector Series User Manual

How to replace filters

NOTE:

It is important to ensure that the filter gaskets seal correctly for proper

operation of the BRAHM™ Collector . This will ensure that you do not get

particulate past the filter compartment. The easy filter clamping system of

the BRAHM™ Collector helps with faster filter replacement and

maintenance.

1) Press the red 'STOP' button and allow blower to spin down. This may take several minutes. On units

with a EVO ™ Panel, this will be a virtual button on the HMI screen.

2) If the unit goes into shut down cleaning cycles, allow the cycles to finish. Allow all of the dust inside

the cabinet to settle before proceeding.

3) Rotate the Disconnect Switch to the '0' or 'OFF' position. This will disconnect power to the unit to

prevent the unit from being started during the filter change. Please follow all lock out - tag out

procedures.

4) Shut off the compressed air supply to the BRAHM ™ Collector.

5) Open the filter door to allow access to the filter compartment and

reveal the cartridge filters.

6) When the filter door is opened, you will notice a large handle on your

left side of the filter.

7)

Grab the bottom of the handle and pull it

towards you, and up. This will loosen the filter(s).

8)

Once the filter clamp has been loosened,

locate and remove the filter caps. The filter caps

are round black plates, located on top of each filter stack.

9)

Once the filter caps have been removed, the filter can be accessed.

10)

Slide a large plastic bag over the top of filter cartridge.

11)

Remove the filter while in the bag and tie the end of the bag closed.

Make sure not to allow dust to fall into the area below the filters during the removal process.
