When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer and what inspired you? It all started when I was very young and it was more on a story telling side, moral count of stories to my brothers, sisters and friends, in the beginning it was mainly stories from heroes in the Bible from Sunday school, then fiction stories and after that I started coming up with my own, this was from 7 to 13 years old, then I knew I wanted to become a writer in the future, write great stories and

good always end up winning. I have loved science fiction since I was very young, fantastic stories and this mainly was the root to my inspiration. How long does it take you to write a book? And what is your work schedule when you’re writing? I will say each story is unique, and time frame varies for me, it all depends on how following the imagination is for one book, sometime the all story is clear as crystal and sometime you have to tune it to get the shape right for readers to understand and enjoy, I have taken the habit to carry a note book wherever I go when

also screen plays, what inspired me was the love for fiction, for justice and hope that in any evil situation or environment, BOOKREVIEWS

“It was a very interesting book to read. This is one of the normal genres of books that I read, but I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this book. I would recommend it to others to read as it is really something different from the normal books. I cannot wait to start the second book tonight and I am sure that this one will be just as amazing as the first one. Marcus did an excellent job and I sincerely hope that there would be more books to follow. If he ever needs someone to read his books, I am definitely in the front of the cue.”

“The classic time-old tale of a young boys’ coming of age, but with a marked difference and a unique sci-fi twist. The main character is Raymond, a loveable young South African from a sheltered upbringing, who decides to shake things up upon starting college, and explore aspects of himself that have been previously repressed. Through boxing, Raymond is released and becomes the character Kazungul. The story is an effective depiction of the transition from boy to man which most readers can relate to. The characters are well developed, and the inclusion of mythological references aids to the books’ believability. There is enough action to keep the reader intrigued, and I would definitely look out for Lukusa’s next offering.”
