October 17 Thursday 4:00 p.m.
In honor of National Fire Prevention Month, Friends Club is teaming up with the Kalona Fire Department to help you protect your home and those you love this winter. Join us for an afternoon with Kalona Fire Chief, Jerry Zahradnek, as he shares what he has seen firsthand in his 30 years with the Kalona Volunteer Fire Department. The discussion will also cover preventing home fires, practicing safety at home, and what to do in case of a fire. Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to tour the firehouse and see a fire engine up-close. Register by Tuesday, October 15.
