Summer was filled with exploration, new experiences, and yummy sweet corn. From experimenting with watercolors, to enjoying a baseball game with friends, and from jet setting to Italy, to exploring the Iowa State Fair, Friends Club lived the summer season to the fullest! The cold winter months aren’t here yet! This fall we have a fresh collection of events and day trips with something for everyone to enjoy. Experience something your community has to offer for the first time, learn about how to keep your home safe from fires in the colder months, stop in for a tasty root beer float, or try a fun holiday activity with some new friends. Finally, the extended tours announced at our July Travel Showcase event are still live on our website to view and register for your next adventure (details on page 24). Space is limited. Even if the tour has a waitlist, don’t be shy; you never know when a spot will open up!
