Easter Eggstravaganza APR 19 – 10:30 am This not-to-be-missed hunt features over 6,000 chocolate eggs and multiple chances to win special prize packages. Gates open at 10:30 am sharp on a first come, first served basis. This outdoor egg hunt starts at 11am. Admission is $5 per child 12 years and under. See website for full details.

Car Boot Sales MAY 31 & JUL 12 – 8 am – 12 pm Calling all treasurer hunters! Start your Saturday morning thrifting at WHAM with this old-fashion English style flea market. Vendors selling antiques, collectables and “good junque” will be setup on the museum grounds. Admission is free. Cancelled if raining.
Norfolk’s Stories in Stitches MAY 1 – JUL 1 For centuries the traditional products of a woman’s life – the children they bore, the food they prepared, the clothing they made – were ephemeral; the children grew up, the food was consumed, the clothing was worn, then worn out, and finally discarded. One significant exception to this was the historical samplers and fancy needlework they created. These samplers were highly valued. They were meant to be displayed and passed down through generations. Today, these samplers are considered both works of art and important pieces of the
