General Information
Double Acting Compact Clamp Clamp design features a linear rotary actuation that moves the arm out of the way for loading and unloading plus a vertical clamping stroke, allowing for part height deviations. Designed to work at 350 Bar. Maximum clamping force - Minimal footprint. Available in 4 sizes. Cartridge mount configuration allows for 360° oil feed capability simplifying oil passages. Available with either short or long arms. (See end of section.) Arm design deflects chips and protects cylinder rod from contamination while clamped. Patent Pending

Warning! Never allow arm to contact workpiece or fixture during actuation. * Cylinder capacities are listed at 350 bar maximum operating pressure, with a short arm installed. Minimum operating pressure of 35 bar is required for double acting applications. The clamping force is adjustable by varying the hydraulic system pressure. To determine the approximate clamping force for your application, see ISM1776: ** To allow for piece part height variations, it is recommended that the vertical travel be set at about 50% of the vertical stroke. *** To ensure maximum service life and trouble-free operation, restrict fluid flow to the above flow ratings. If you are unable to measure flow rates, adjust flow so that the clamping action occurs in no less than half a second. If using extended arm either quarter the above flow rates, or time clamping action to be no less than two seconds.
