Full Retraction for Clear Robot Access. Double-acting design retracts completely for unobstructed loading and unloading. Spring Contact, Hydraulic Hold. Applies low spring force for initial part control, then transitions to high-force hydraulic when pressure is applied. Crowds and Clamps in One Device. Eliminates separate crowding and clamping components by performing both functions with a single device. Model Range Matches Part Size. Low spring force in compact models and higher spring force in larger units, allows selection based on part mass and rigidity.

* Spring Force = Full Stroke Force + (Spring Rate × Compression) Where: Full Stroke Force (lbs): The spring force when the cylinder is at its full-stroke (fully extended) reference position. Spring Rate (lbs/in): The increase in force per inch of additional compression. Compression (in): The distance the cylinder is compressed from the full-stroke position. ** Cylinder capacities are at 5,000 psi maximum operating pressure. The output force is adjustable by varying hydraulic system pressure. To determine the approximate output force for your application, multiply the piston area by your system operating pressure. (Actual force may vary slightly due to friction loss, seal and wiper drag and/or return springs.)
