There are several wellbeing apps and online support services available, but finding the right platform for you, can be overwhelming. To help you decide what’s best for you, we have included a list of five great resources, which we find useful and effective. We are all different so it’s about finding what works best for you:

This is a great place to start and to understand the support available to you as a Swansea University student. Here you will find advice on money, wellbeing, student health, help in a crisis and welfare, to name but a few.

Mindfulness for beginners. There is no time like the present to take a moment and explore what could really have an impact on your wellbeing. This emotional wellness app delivers daily reminders to ‘pause’ and also shares great meditation exercises that you can incorporate into your day.
HEADSPACE : headspace.com
Headspace’s strapline is: Less stressed. More resilient. Happier. That’s what we all want, right? This app helps you practice mindfulness in a manageable way and provides great tips and techniques for incorporating it into your daily routine. MIND : mind.org.uk/information-support/tips-for-everyday-living/wellbeing Mind is a mental health charity which campaigns to raise awareness and understanding of mental health problems. Their website offers great, practical advice for wellbeing, dealing with stress and how to seek further support if needed.
