At a time when there is growing alarm about the low recycled rates of other packaging materials, paper recycling is a striking exception.” Sixty-eight percent of paper and paper-based packag- ing in the United States gets recovered and recycled into new products, and that jumps to more than 91 percent for corrugated cardboard. In comparison, the U.S. Environ- mental Protection reports that plastics, glass, and metals are recycled at just 9 percent, 25 percent and 34 percent, respectively. The 2023 Two Sides Trend Tracker Survey queried 1,000 respondents over age 18 across the United States. It is the second of Two Sides’ biennial trend tracker studies designed to explore and better understand consumer per- ceptions, behaviors and preferences related to the sus- tainability of paper products. Bobst To Feature Masterline DRO At CorrExpo 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio Mex, Switzerland based Bobst has announced its partic- ipation at CorrExpo 2023 to be held on August 28-30 in Cleveland, Ohio. Experts will also be on hand to explain the quality and control systems developed by Bobst to ensure fault-free production with only minimal waste and less op- erator intervention needed.
