AICC Announces Early Registration For Annual Meeting In Louisville, KY AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, an- nounced open registration for the 2023 Annual meeting in the heart of Bourbon City. Attendees will hear from top- notch speakers, attend invigorating workshop sessions, network with friends and colleagues, and experience what Louisville, Kentucky has to offer on September 18-20. Independent II, Premier Packaging, and Greif Corr- Choice will showcase their facilities on local plant tours. There will be three buses that will rotate between each lo- cation. All buses will visit each location. All buses will end for lunch and bourbon tasting at the Farmington Historic Plantation. Registration for the plant tours is $250 per per- son and also includes a continental breakfast at the hotel
prior to departure. Networking events include a night at the Kentucky Der- by Museum at Churchill Downs; Bourbon distillery tours; Emerging Leaders networking event at Howl at the Moon; and lunch that will feature a keynote presentation by Tripp Crosby, a comedic host, inspirational speak- er, and filmmaker.
Crosby's comedy sketch, “A Conference Call in Real Life,” is one of the most popu- lar workplace comedy sketches of all time, going viral on YouTube twice: once when he created it in 2013 and again in 2020 when the painful experience of participating in conference calls became an even more re- latable topic. Entries are also being accepted for the AICC and Board Converting News Innovator of the Year Competition, which recognizes innovative solutions created by both AICC box plant and supplier members that en- hance the efficiencies, productivity, product quality and bottom line profitability of the in- dependent box plant.
