In addition, the findings show the impact of social media platforms in the growth of populist discourse ; and the spread of hate speech and tribalism and incitement to violence and rebellion against the territorial integrity of the state . In order to limit and decrease the dangers of populist discourse in Sudanese society, the study recommends the promotion of dialogue and a culture of peaceful coexistence between different social components, as well as media education and the spread of awareness of what social media transmits, and teaching users how to deal with digital media .
