Have Fun Right Here in Pensacola

Looking for some entertainment? Don’t look too far! Pensacola offers up many fun events throughout the summer, including the three below. 6TH ANNUAL FISH HOUSE CRAFT BEER FEST June 15, 3–6 p.m. Fish House, Pensacola FLORIDA’S FLORA: NATURE TOUR OF ARCADIA MILL RONALD MCDONALD FIRECRACKER 5K June 29, 7 a.m. Seville Square Park, Pensacola

April 13 to Aug. 10, 10:30–11:30 a.m. Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, Milton

Featuring over 50 beers from commercial brewers and local homebrews, this is the place to let your inner beer nerd out. And if you need more of an excuse to join, the event is for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. Some of the featured breweries include Gulf Coast Brewery, Pensacola Bay Brewery, Cigar City Brewery, Perfect Plain, and Swamp Head Brewery, to name a few. It is a 21 and over event with tickets available for purchase at GreatSouthernRestaurants.com/calendar.

A 5K the whole family can enjoy! Taking place in historic downtown Pensacola, this event benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida, helping them carry out their mission of keeping family close when their kids are sick by providing stability and resources. Wear your red, white, and blue and get ready for a festive and meaningful morning. There will be a free kid’s fun run after the 5K, and you can join the organizers afterward in the Seville Quarter to cool off.

Learn how native plants played a role in Florida’s past and enjoy the flora and fauna along this guided tour in historic Milton. You’ll discover more about the archaeological site at Arcadia Mill and hear how the ecology has been part of it. The entire tour takes about an hour and spans the boardwalk and trails along Arcadia Mill. The cost is $2 for children and $4 for adults.
