After annual enrollment or your new hire benefits enrollment period, you can only make changes to your benefits if you experience a qualifying life event, such as having a baby, getting married or divorced, or your spouse losing health coverage. If you think you are eligible to make changes because of a qualifying life event, you must send documentation to our Benefits Team within 31 days of the event. The DCFSA covers daycare expenses while you are at work for children under age 13 or older dependents who are incapable of self-care. That includes costs for things like babysitters, summer day camps, and elder care. You and your spouse must be a full-time employee or student in order to be eligible for a DCFSA. When you set aside your pay, pre-tax, in a flexible spending accounts (FSA), you reduce your taxable income, meaning you’ll pay less in taxes next year when you file. You must re-enroll in the FSAs each plan year. Health Care FSA The Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) is offered to those not enrolled in an HDHP to pay for copays, deductibles, coinsurance, prescriptions, dental care, glasses, and other eligible health-related expenses for you and your tax dependents. The HCFSA can roll over up to $660 in 2025, but all other unused funds are lost at the end of the plan year. If you have a balance remaining, consider spending excess funds at FSAstore.com , which carries eligible items including over-the-counter medication and supplies.

To keep your rolled over funds, you must re-enroll in the HCFSA plan year.

Check out the ways to use your HSA. • Spend : You can use the HSA for its checking account qualities — access money that is in your account to cover qualified medical, dental and vision expenses. You’re not using funds from your actual checking account, and you pay less in taxes on both your HSA contributions and your qualified expenses. • Save : You can use the HSA for its savings account qualities. Instead of using the funds now, your goal is to grow your HSA balance for the long haul, saving a financial nest egg for medical expenses in the future — including during retirement. When you make your own pre-tax contributions through payroll deductions up to annual IRS household limits, you reduce your taxable income, meaning you’ll pay less in taxes next year when you file. For 2025, the maximums are $4,300 for individual and $8,550 for all other coverage, plus a $1,000 annual catch up contribution for those over age 55. The annual maximums include the Averitt contribution, so subtract the amount you will receive from Averitt to determine your maximum 2025 contribution amount.

• Whole Life Insurance — Provides death benefit coverage that you can increase or decrease as your needs change. Ask your Colonial Life Benefits Counselor for complete details. In New York Colonial Voluntary Benefits are underwritten by the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company. Voya Voluntary Life and Long-Term Disibility Voluntary Long-Term Disability You can’t predict accidents, but you can be prepared if they happen. If you’re unable to perform the functions of your job for more than 26 weeks, voluntary long- term disability pays you up to 60% of your base pay to a maximum of $5,000 per month. Benefits continue up to age 65 (or your Social Security normal retirement age) as long as you remain totally disabled. Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance You can purchase additional illness, accident, and life insurance coverage during enrollment or if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). Review your enrollment guide for more details. Trustmark Life+Long Term Care 833-644-2392 | averitt.yourcare360.com Long-term care services — assistance with things like basic personal tasks of everyday life, such as help bathing, dressing, using the toilet and eating — can get expensive. This benefit through YourCare360 allows you to use 4% of the life insurance death benefit for up to 25 months to cover personal and custodial care in a variety of settings such as your home, community, or other facility. Averitt associates between the ages of 18 and 75 and spouses between the ages of 18 and 70 may apply. Your rate is locked in based upon your age at the time of the effective date of the application.

Since accidents and illnesses can happen that may keep you out of work, short-term disability coverage — available at no cost to you after one year of service — ensures that you continue to receive a portion of your income for up to 26 weeks in the event of a disability. AVERITT CARES FOR KIDS This associate-driven program funds our non- profit charitable organization, Averitt Charities. Associates contribute through weekly payroll deductions of $1, signifying the Power of One. Combined with company contributions made in recognition of associates’ life events, milestones and achievements, this resulted in a 2024 donation of $1,750,001 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

TEAM UP COMMUNITY CHALLENGE This year-round initiative encourages associates across our network to participate in local service projects. The initiative exemplifies the spirit of our Averitt family when we work together to serve our local communities. The company honors our associates’ community service hours by making matching contributions to our non-profit charitable organization, Averitt Charities. AMBASSADOR TEAM Retired associates have an opportunity to stay connected by becoming a member of our Ambassador Team. This unique group of associates continues to give back by participating in Averitt Cares for Kids and can choose to be involved in Team Up Community Challenge events, find new teammates as a Team Builder and work on a reduced schedule as an Averitt Mentor.
