After annual enrollment or your new hire benefits enrollment period, you can only make changes to your benefits if you experience a qualifying life event, such as having a baby, getting married or divorced, or your spouse losing health coverage. If you think you are eligible to make changes because of a qualifying life event, you must send documentation to our Benefits Team within 31 days of the event. Email verification documents to Averitt at averittbenefits@averitt.com . During the Fall Annual enrollment is held every October, and you will be able to adjust all your benefits at that time. MEDICARE RESOURCES Alliant Medicare Solutions is a free resource available to you, family members and friends. Experienced representatives can answer all your Medicare questions, including comparing available Medicare plans to the Averitt plans. At least three months before your 65th birthday — or if you are already over 65 — gather your current medical coverage information (plan, cost, prescriptions, preferred doctors and hospitals, etc.) then call Alliant Medicare Solutions at 855-346-1519 . Alliant Medicare Solutions helps you enroll or emails you the policy materials for you to review.
