There are two notable comfort stations on Chileno Bay’s 18-hole golf course that provide respite from the Mexican sun during a round.
A uniquely-shaped comfort station is located between hole 6 and the development’s organic farm. Inspired by the form of the conch shell found along the nearby shores, this resting place for golfers and visitors to the farm uses soil directly from the site in the rammed earth curved walls. With local palo de arco for shading the terrace, this humble design speaks to the driving concept of sustainability and low-impact building. Next door, the organic farm features an event lawn, exterior farm-to-table dining, a bonfire area, and raised herb and vegetable beds that guests can harvest themselves.
Another comfort station on hole 12 features a traditional palapa roof and a spacious palo de arco terrace.
