Basil Aristotle

15 cm

Greek basil type that produces a tight, neat, rounded ball of densely packed leaves. Highly aromatic small leaves loaded with flavour, Aristotle looks as good as it tastes and makes a delightful feature plant in pots and containers or even planted in a sunny spot in the garden. Strong stems, late flowering and good tolerance to poor weather make for excellent performance. One seed can easily fill a 20 cm pot. Best for: fresh or dried use, particularly in Mediterranean cooking.

Basil Floral Spires

15 cm

A very ornamental basil variety bred for both its flowers and foliage, Floral Spires makes a great flowering plant and is excellent for culinary use. Unlike other basil varieties, the leaves do not become bitter after flowering. Features a uniform, dense, bushy habit with a distinct Thai basil scent. Perfect for growing on a windowsill, but performs equally as well outdoors, when planted in pots or in the garden. One seed can easily fill a 20 cm pot. Best for: fresh use, particularly in Asian cooking.

Available in White, Lavender and Mixed

Cucumber Petipikel

25 cm

Petipikel is a short vining/bush, pickling cucumber. Petipikel has been bred to stay compact, with the vines using only one third of the space of a standard variety. Plants mature in just 45 days. Pick the green striped, spined fruit at 8-13 cm for the best results. Harvest regularly to increase the yield. Best for pickling, but fruit can be left until 18 cm long and used fresh.

Eggplant Amethyst

Features purple flowers and silver-grey foliage, making it an attractive plant even at early stages. Well-suited to both containers and open ground in warm, sunny locations. Fruits all summer long. Best for: grilling, roasting, or stir-frying.
