SHOW RULES & REGULATIONS
Conditions of Competition 1. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 2. THE HORSE SHOW COMMITTEE reserves the right to itself to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to, or arising out of, or incident to, the show, without claims for damages or recourse of any kind. Any questions not covered in these rules and regulations shall be decided by the Horse Show Committee, consisting of the Competition Managers and the Horse Show Secretary. 3. ALL ENTRIES are accepted with the understanding that the Labor Day Classic Horse Show will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any horse exhibited or any article of any kind. All horses shall be under the control and direction of the Horse Show Committee but solely at the risk of the exhibitor, who will be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to any person, animal or property occasioned by him, his agents or employees, or by any animal owned and exhibited by him, and shall indemnify SCHC and Labor Day Classic against any and all loss, damage and liability thus occasioned including but not limited to any and all legal costs, including attorney fees, which may be incurred as a result thereof. The submitting of any entry form shall constitute an acceptance by each person signing same of the provisions herin set forth.
4. ALL OWNERS AND EXHIBITORS will be held responsible for any damage incurred by them or their agents to barns or other properties on the show grounds and will be billed accordingly.
5. IN ADDITION TO ENTRIES of persons suspected or expelled from the Federation, the Recognized competition may refuse any entry of an exhibitor or the participation of any agent, trainer, rider, driver or handler who has shown an objectionable attitude towards this Recognized competition or previous unsportsmanlike behavior at a Recognized competition or to its management.
6. MANAGEMENT reserves the right to cancel, consolidate or split classes depending upon entries received at the closing date.
7. THE HORSE SHOW COMMITTEE reserves the privilege of substituting or changing judges if it becomes necessary. The Judges’ decision in the show ring are their own responsibility and the Show Committee accepts no responsibility for these decisions.
