The first of its kind, this press is equipped with today’s most advanced automated engineering and technolo- gy, which strengthens International Paper’s existing portfolio of award-winning preprint services in North America.This high-speed flexographic preprint machine is paired with prepress assets that reported- ly ensure rapid setups and consistent registration. Reprographic Systems Installs Esko’s Crystal Technology Esko has installed the first XPS Crystal 5080 expo- sure units at Reprographic Systems in Ireland. The company has also invested in two of the latest Kongs- berg Digital Finishing Cutting Tables plus Esko Web- Center software. Esko’s new Crystal technology recently won the 2017 Flexographic Technical Associ- ation (FTA) Innovation Award for PrePress Graphics. It also received an international Red Dot Award for Product Design 2017. The new XPS Crystal is a digitally controlled expo- sure unit providing near simultaneous exposures sup- porting all major photopolymer flexo manufacturers.
