ANY RETALIATION OR REPRISAL AGAINST AN EMPLOYEE WHO REPORTS ALLEGED HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, OR RELATED RETALIATION UNDER THIS PROCEDURE IN GOOD FAITH OR AGAINST ANY WITNESS WHO PROVIDES INFORMATION OR COOPERATES IN ANY INVESTIGATION OF ALLEGED HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, OR RELATED RETALIATION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND IS A VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY. If an employee has a concern or question about this process, they should contact their supervisor or Human Resources. BUSINESS TRAVEL AND EXPENSES While Harrell’s hopes that an employee’s experiences conducting business on behalf of Harrell’s are pleasurable and gratifying, the Company must also be reasonable. This policy reflects the Company’s collective responsibility to conduct business in a fiscally responsible manner. General Guidelines This policy is designed to accomplish the following key points: • Ensure all employees have a clear and consistent understanding of policies and procedures for business travel and expenses. • Ensure employees are reimbursed for legitimate business travel and entertainment expenses. • Provide the appropriate level of accounting and business controls for the company to ensure that expenses are reviewed and approved by the appropriate person. All employees who travel for company business are responsible for complying with Harrell’s Corporate Travel and Expense Policy. All approved expenses incurred must be in accordance with the employee’s departmental budget. If an employee is unclear about the expense budget, they should contact their supervisor before incurring any expenses. Corporate Travel It is company policy for employees to utilize their corporate credit card for all business travel-related charges. The use of a personal credit card is not permitted. The types of travel-related charges are defined as follows: • Airline tickets, change fees to existing airline tickets • Baggage fees • Hotel stays • Car rental expenses include gas, tolls, parking, and related expenses. Air Travel Guidelines Every effort should be made to book air travel as early as possible. All employees must travel in any commercial flight's main economy class cabin. The main cabin is defined as a standard economy class. Employees are not required to travel in carriers that offer Basic Economy Class, which do not permit itinerary changes, seat assignments, access to overhead bins, and boarding after all other passengers are on board.
