Close-loop recyclable & biodegradable covalent adaptable networks based on dynamic β-COS thiocarboxylate linkage Chandan Upadhyay 1 and Umaprasana Ojha 2 * 1 Department of Chemistry, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (An Institution of National Importance), India, 2 School of Basic Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, India Thiocarboxylates hold promise as another dynamic linkage in the development of covalent adaptable networks. A set of close-loop recyclable and biodegradable aliphatic covalent adaptable networks (CANs) based on dynamic β-COS thioester linkages possessing application windows beyond 100 °C is reported. These CANs are depolymerizable to monomers under mild conditions and loose most of the mechanical strength within ~35 days under natural biodegradation conditions. References 1. Podgórski, N.
