Le Club Optimiste d’Embrun a récemment choisi son nouveau conseil d’administration. Exposition artisanale à Embrun ce week-end

Seniors using the Day Service van nowhave safe footing thanks to a local car dealership. Prescott & Russell Community Services (PRCS) received some needed help in making its Day Service shuttle van a more safe and secure ride for local seniors in the Embrun area. The Embrun Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership donated winter carpets for use inside the van this season. PRCS o!cials say the carpets add an extra measure of “security and stability” for seniors and adults with mobility problems who use the van to attend programs and various activities in the area. Ce sont les 22 et 23 novembre prochains que se tiendra encore cette année l’ex- position artisanale au Centre récréatif d’Embrun. Plus de 45 exposants seront sur place pour proposer des idées cadeaux pour les Fêtes. Plusieurs cadeaux seront également o!erts lors de l’encan silencieux. L’argent ainsi recueilli lors de ce week- end sera entièrement remis à Connecting Pieces, d’Embrun, qui se concentre sur les besoins spéciaux (autisme), le tutorat, et qui o!re des consultations, des ateliers pour enfants, adolescents et adultes, des services en orthophonie et zoothérapie. C’est de 9h à 16h que l’on pourra se rendre le samedi au Centre récréatif, et de 10 à 16h le dimanche. Pour de plus amples détails, on appelle Sylvain au 613-867-6257.
