3rd September 2009! It’s a little bit blurred, but hopefully you can spot a few of the members on it (I can certainly see Ivan!). And finally, a bit of late sad news, I heard today is that ex fancier John Brownlee who used to fly in Cromford HS (I believe) passed away on Friday evening (13th October 2023), condolences to all John’s family and friends at this very sad time. Well, everyone, that’s about it for this week, before I go and as it is now the winter months, I have started to add the dates for the diaries section to the article, please feel free to let me have any dates that you wish to publicise. Dates for the Diaries Newbold HS, Unstone HS and Spire RPC are holding a joint prize presentation on Friday 24th November 2023 at the clubs headquarters the Victoria Club, event to start at 19:30. Newbold HS are holding their AGM on Friday 1st December 2023 at the Victoria Club starting at 19:00. Please feel free to send me any news, views, results etc to the usual contact details above. Cheers for now, Simeon.
