But in recent years Mark has been building a team of sprint pigeons to compete in the strong Berk, Bucks and Oxon Fed and the Berkshire Fed. He has painstakingly sourced top sprint lofts all over the UK and Europe in a quest to own and race the best sprint pigeons available. He has now built such a team that they are winning out of turn and 2023 has been an incredible season for the sprint team winning: 24x1st Club – 16x1st Federation 1st Section, 1st Open BICC Guernsey • 1st Section, 1st Open NFC Carentan
‘National Ace 2015’ that bred ‘Daniel’ another 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint Champion in 2019. Then a daughter from ‘National Ace 2015’ bred ‘Blue Best Kittel’, the winner of 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint 2021 and 4th National Ace KBDB Sprint 2019. Best Kittel also sired ‘Best Kittel II’, winner again of 1st National Ace Sprint KBDB 2020 and then in 2022 ‘Best Kittel II’ bred the 2nd (Grizzle Best Kittel) and 3rd Nat Ace Sprinters KBDB only behind their loft mate, which was bred from a brother to Best Kittel. He is a grandson of Banksy and Southfield Kittel, he is soaked in the brilliant lines of Kittel and Rosita and will no doubt become a very good breeder.
