MAJOR REDUCTION SALE FOR Kevin Batch (Woods & Batch), Norwch
Kevin Batch and his partner Andrew Woods have always bought the best pigeons available. When we used to conduct our live auctions in Manchester on a weekly basis, Kevin would travel up almost every week from Norwich to buy what he thought were the best pigeons in the sale, he would always buy more than he had originally come for because he just couldn’t help himself buying good pigeons. He was also fearless when bidding for a pigeon, if he wanted it he rarely got outbid no matter what the cost and because of that attitude he took home some truly great pigeons that have helped them become such a force in racing today. Kevin has reluctantly decided to part with these breeders because he simply has to many and it has been a hard decision to part with them. There are some real gems among this batch, are couple of them are getting on a bit but he has offered a YB from 2023 to go with the oldest cock to prove his fertility. Kevin is a very genuine guy and every pigeon offered has bred them something descent. It is not a sale of weeding out rubbish, as you will see if you come and handle them. LOT 3 Belge 20-4002296 Mealy Cock Dustin, he is a grandson of Skittel, Goldust, King and Sancy. Skittel is the nestmate to Les Greens super breeder Golden Kittel and is a son of Kittel x New Golden Lady. Goldust is the full sister to Kittel, King is from New Kittel and Sancy is a daughter of Kittel x The Beer Hen. Dustin has been a good stock cock for Kevin especially when paired with the hen in Lot 2. SIRE NL 19-1417260 Golden Boy a direct son of Skittel x Goldust. DAM NL 17-1826114 she is a daughter from King x Sancy. LOT 4 Belge 18-6113113 Red Cock, Strik Two. Kevin purchased this cock from Chris Hickman of Birmingham and since then Kevin was told that this cock had bred numerous good pigeons for Chris and others. Another super hen from Blauwe Leo is the 976 that is now owned by Micky Collins, she bred 1st Nat Ace KBDB Champions and 1st Provincial Ace Pigeon in Belgium plus many Fed and Combine winners here in the UK. Blauwe Leo is a super pigeon and this son of him is 100% fertile. There is a 2023 youngster that will be given free to the buyer. He has been a an outstanding pigeon for Kevin and has bred fed winners when paired with Double Diamond 18/4237600 (Lot 7 in this sale) he also bred winners when paired with the sister to Rosita. SIRE Belge 06-6148378 Blauwe Leo sire and grand sire to top pigeons, many of which have gone on to breed some of the most famous 1st National Ace Pigeons in the world, Namely Kittel and Sagan. Also 1st Olympiad pigeon Nitra 2013 and the mother of Wiske is bred from a full brother to De Leeuw and he was 8th National Ace Pigeon in 2004.
