It’s important to remember though that a programme’s success is never achieved in isolation. From having Al Jazeera English Managing Director, Giles Trendle, and the Head of Magazine & Discussion Programmes, Salah A A Khadr, back the idea from its initial spark, to the countless colleagues who offered advice, support and encouragement - I’m constantly inspired by the work of my colleagues throughout the network.

As journalism continues to evolve, I hope we can maintain this drive for experimentation in format, collaboration between departments and diversity in our collective media output.
