emphasize professional experience, it is important that students possess the personality strengths and character to function effectively in a variety of inter personal and professional relationships. Personal as well as academic screening avoids the pitfalls of admitting a student to a course of study for which he is potentially unsuited. A non-refundable fee of $35 is due and payable to Biola College, Inc. , following arrangements for the interview. The application deadline is February 15. No waivers are permitted for any item of the application procedures, nor is permission granted for any waiver of applica tion or personal interview fees. Rosemead will not make copies of tests sent for admissions purposes at any time. Applicants are referred to the source from which the testing was originally administered. CERTIFICATES OF ACCEPTANCE The Admissions Committee will process applications as quickly as possible follow ing the February 15 deadline, though time must be allowed for completion of per sonal interviews. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that all appli cation materials have been received. If there is any doubt, the applicant should write to the Admissions Office for verification. When an application has been com pleted, the school will send a notice to the applicant. If such a notice has not been received, it may be assumed that the application file is not yet complete. Certificates of Acceptance will be mailed on a rolling basis. Information concern ing the status of an application will not be given except by letter from the Director of Admissions following action by the Admissions Committee. Information will not be given by telephone. In the event that an applicant has not heard from the committee by May 1, written inquiry may be made. ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT Applicants who have been granted acceptance are given two weeks in which to reply to the acceptance and are required to remit a $100 enrollment deposit which is retained in a special account to the student's credit until the final semester of enrollment. At that time this deposit may be credited to the student's regular ac count for that semester or refunded if the school account is paid in full . This $100 enrollment deposit is retained as a continuing pre-registration deposit to assure the enrolled student of a place in the Rosemead student body. Students who pre-register and fail to notify the registrar that they do not plan to enroll for that semester, or simply do not complete registration, forfeit the $100. The Regis- trar must be notified by July 31 that the student does not plan to enroll for the fall semester and by December 31 that the student does not not plan to enroll for the spring semester. Whether an individual is a new or a continuing student who has pre-registered, it is important that Rosemead be informed of any change in plans regarding enrollment.
