Averitt Honored For Culture Of Providing Opportunities For Veterans MILITARY FRIENDLY CULTURE In honor of Veterans Day, it’s a great time to celebrate an award that shows our commitment to those who serve our country. The Averitt team was recently recognized in a national survey as a Military Friendly Employer! The Military Friendly survey was conducted by veteran-owned business Viqtory. According to Viqtory’s website, “The Military Friendly Company survey investigates and identifies the organizations whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community is comprehensive in scope, and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact. From hiring and career advancement to customer service and charitable investment, Military Friendly Companies lead the way.” Averitt was recognized in three categories in this year’s survey, including Military Friendly Employer (Bronze designation), Military Spouse Friendly Employer and Military Friendly Brand. “Military veterans’ commitment to service, teamwork and working toward a common goal are among the many reasons they’re a perfect fit for our culture,” says GARY SASSER, who is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. “For 50 years, we’ve been proud to add military veterans to our team, and I’m even more excited about our future as we build on our commitment to make Averitt a place where veterans can call home.”
